“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

SUNDAY MORNING TEACHING SERIES

The Church We Will Be
June 6 - June 27, 2010

Series Overview:

It seems quite evident that God is moving powerfully in our church. One thing we can be sure of is that when God moves people, He moves them to new places. And as is the Biblical tradition, we are going to spend these next weeks preparing ourselves for the journey. We may not know exactly where it leads, yet ultimately, the goal is always to glorify Christ in all we do.

The People We Are

Date: June 13, 2010
Teacher: Robert Hahn

All throughout His ministry, Jesus called on His followers not only to see who they could be, but to claim who they already are. “You are the light of the world,” Jesus said. What does our light look like today and how are we glorifying God? This morning we consider how we can honor our Savior right now.

The People We Were

Date: June 6, 2010
Teacher: Robert Hahn

In the same way individuals mature in their faith, we as a collective Body have been maturing as well. Throughout the Bible, God and His people would take time to remember where they came from and how they got where they are. In doing so, God's sovereignty and grace always become more and more evident to them. This morning we remember all God has done for us, and the joy it is to be His people.
