Journey
Wednesdays at Chesapeake from 7:00 - 8:30pm, middle and high school youth come together on these powerful nights to experience and learn what it means to become a holy generation as we journey together to become like Christ. Journey includes an opening hang out time, games, creative and engaging large group teaching, and worship through music. Journey begins each year in September and concludes in May. Check out our calendar for specific dates.
Journey Home Groups
We all thirst for real friendships that challenge us to grow - Journey Home Groups are designed for just that. Peake Youth's weekly small group ministry in homes on Monday evenings equips youth to be fully devoted followers of Christ through building genuine friendships and learning how the bible practically applies to everyday life. The evenings include hang out time or games and plenty of time in consistent small groups of the same age and gender led by caring adult leaders. Home Groups meet from October to May. Check out our calendar for specific dates.

Matt's Place
Matt's Place is all about having some fun while going deeper in your journey with Christ on Thursdays after school. All youth attending Matt's Place take a fun and engaging class with a hands-on workshop feel. (See what's coming up on our calendar.) There is also plenty of time to hang out and play games in our Journey Room...like basketball, foosball, arcade games, Wii, ping pong, and any other fun and creative things we can come up with! You can also do homework in our Mac computer lab or try out the other programs we provide from time to time ranging from cooking to community service and lots of practical fun in between! Matt's Place is free and transportation is available from many of our schools.

Sunday Morning Youth Discipleship
Sunday mornings from 9-10am, youth are invited to continue to grow in their knowledge of God and relationship with Him. Classes run for approximately 6 weeks at a time, for either middle or high school youth. Our Fall classes include "Fuel" for 6-8th grade youth (fill up for your journey with Christ by learning the fundamentals of our faith, God's Word, and our church) and "Generation Change" for 9-12th grade youth (Financial Peace University for teens). Check out our calendar for specific dates.

Events
All year long we have a variety of events from whitewater rafting to bucking broncos, home movie contests to coffeehouses, and snow tubing to ski trips. These events are designed to provide fellowship, learning, serving, and worship experiences as well as an opportunity to invite new youth into our community. Our events also allow for tons of time together just having fun and building friendships. Check out the calendar for what's coming up next.
Sunday Mornings
We encourage our youth, 6-12th grade, to join our church body in Sunday morning services in the auditorium at Chesapeake Church. We believe it's critical for youth to not be entirely isolated by their age during worship services so they can learn how to be part of the whole church congregation, now, and for the rest of their lives. Also, our distinct privilege at Chesapeake Church is having exciting, funny, musically excellent and impacting Sunday morning worship services that our youth can enjoy and benefit from greatly.
International Missions
For several years Peake Youth has partnered with the Hope of Life Mission in Guatemala, the Summer's Best 2 Weeks camp in the Dominican Republic, and the El Ayudante mission in Honduras to send a team of high school youth to serve the people of these countries. This incredible experience has changed lives and taught us the value and satisfaction of serving others instead of ourselves. Each Fall, details of this year's trip as well as youth applications are made available.
The Gathering / Fields of Faith
Twice a year hundreds of teens come together as a community of Christian youth to worship Christ together. "The Gathering" is hosted in the Spring while "Fields of Faith" is hosted in the Fall. Both evenings focus on youth testimonies and youth-led worship and combine multiple youth ministries and school ministries from our region. Its a powerful sight to see.
